Generative choreography talk tour, NYC recap and beyond
What a feeling finally sharing what we’ve been working on for the last 9 months.
On Generative Choreography
We were blown away by the reception to our on-chain generative choreography method and how we used it for the upcoming lot of the Privacy Collection, Human Unreadable, planned to be released on Art Blocks this Spring. After showing work at Lume Studios, performing a rehearsal at a JPG x MoCA Event, our NY speaking engagements at Proof of People and talk hosted by Metalabel and Artnet, we went to Vienna, where we were welcomed by a fantastic crowd to our lecture at the Coding Lab of the city’s University of Applied Arts.
Keep an eye out for our generative choreography white paper which will be released with Metalabel later this year.
We kicked off our week in NYC with On Generative Choreography, a talk event in Manhattan which was named an unmissable event of the NFT.NYC week. Our presentation was followed by a conversation with Erick Calderon of Art Blocks.
Line Scanner at Lume Studios
Our first piece created together, a film called Line Scanner (2016) exhibited in Excavating Ex Machina at Lume Studios, NYC on April 8, curated by Raina Mehler.
JPG / MOCA Performance
This is generative art. At iCONoclast, an event hosted by JPG and Gallery of Crypto Art in New York, we performed a choreographic tuning session, staging outputs from our generative choreography model in front of a live audience for the first time.

Proof of People X Refraction Panel
Our week of speaking engagements in NYC were wrapped up with “Beyond Web3 Art”, a panel discussion at Proof of People x Refraction Festival along with Charlotte Kent, Andrew Benson and Carla Gannis in a conversation moderated by Brian Droitcour.
Watch the conversation here (beginning at 4 hr 5 minute mark).
Dimensions at Pittlerwerke
While we were in NYC, a major exhibition opened at Pittlerwerke in Leipzig: DIMENSIONS, a survey on the history of digital art featuring immersive installations, media art, generative art from 1859 to today. We are very proud to have our piece Still Contemplating Justice, created as part of UNPROTECTED at Epoch Gallery, as part of this monumental exhibition along with artists like Nam June Paik, Claudia Hart, Ryoji Ikeda.

What’s Next: NFT Rome & Human Unreadable
Our next stop will be Rome, Italy, where Dejha will give a talk about on chain generative choreography and Human Unreadable as part of VerticalCrypto Art’s programming at NFT Rome.
Closing note: we are days away from the launch of the next lot of the Privacy Collection, our most ambitious work yet, Human Unreadable. Coming to Art Blocks.
