Operator at Art Basel Hong Kong

Operator’s Ania Catherine and Dejha Ti will take the stage Saturday 29 March in Hong Kong with a new lecture-performance as part of the Art Basel Conversations Program. In this new presentation they dive into the complex relationship between documentation, commodification, and performance, sharing the wider context and backdrop that has shaped their latest work and the creation of their generative choreography method and Human Unreadable. The lecture includes live performance by three local dancers (King Tsoi, Sharon Wong, and Noelle Tang) who have learned the entire Human Unreadable movement library. The event is free, open to the public, and co-hosted by TAEX.
